David A. Hogan started his career as a general contractor in Cleveland, Ohio, building and repairing homes throughout the region. Over the years, he saw a troubling pattern firsthand: insurance companies were consistently underpaying claims, misinterpreting policy language, and failing to recognize the full extent of storm-related damages.
Time and again, property owners were left covering costs out of pocket, costs their insurance policies should have covered. David knew something had to change.
In 2004, he founded David A. Hogan Public Adjusting with a clear mission: advocate for property owners and fight for the settlements they rightfully deserve. His background as a contractor gives him a distinct advantage. He knows construction, he knows damage, and he knows exactly what a proper repair costs.
What started as a one-man mission in Ohio has grown into a firm licensed across eight states — Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Connecticut, Wisconsin and California — serving homeowners and commercial property owners. Ohio remains our main office, with additional offices in Florida, Texas and Louisiana.
